Warm Modern Kitchen with Walnut Island

About This Project

This Dane County kitchen pairs rich walnut cabinetry with warm white uppers and a statement island clad in book-matched walnut veneer. The homeowners wanted a space that felt collected rather than matched — every selection was made to layer warmth, texture, and function. A Kohler Stages sink anchors the perimeter run, while a Kallista faucet in polished nickel bridges traditional craft and modern lines. Task lighting under the uppers supplements a Kohler Lighting pendant cluster over the island.
